about

"Racoon" is a collection of some of my first blues songs I wrote in the early 1990's. These rough and ready tunes were recorded with my cousin Chris Simoni in Northern Indiana. Chris plays some fine guitar accompaniment that blends country blues, soul, delta and funk into the experience. "Racoon" was one of the first tapes I released and circulated - this sequence is unique to the web and it bears some "low-fi" feel to the 20 year ago gap... it is merely for curiousity. I do believe there are some fine playing in here - as well as some crazy subject matter near the end. A cult favorite of some folks...(J.Easyfields) Note: audio may vary with age.
